We are looking for mechanics and/or apprentice mechanics to join our team and become part of our Arrow family in Ashcroft BC! Our mechanics perform A and B service to our Tractor units and full service to our Super B Ore Trailers.

Pension: $3.02/hr or $6300/year into your pension - 100% paid by Arrow Full Benefits including dental, life insurance, pharmaceutical, vision care, chiropractor, massage, EAP, and more 100% paid by Arrow Flexible Day Shifts Available: 4/4, 5/2, 4/3 or whatever you work out with your Manager 100% insurance paid on your tools Boot allowance and all other PPE supplied including coveralls.

Year round work New equipment Direct deposit pay For more information about Arrow and our current job opportunities check out: Responsibilities As an Arrow mechanic, you will perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment.

We have 2 Bays and a Pit in a very well maintained shop setting.





It''s a small shop with a great work environment! Provide routine maintenance on tractors, trailers and mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders Check all equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required Diagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair that is required.

Perform incidental welding repairs on equipment.

Operate automotive servicing equipment (i.e., A/C, recycler, etc.) Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques You Possess Journeyman''s certificate, Red Seal, or equivalent qualification.

Clean drivers abstract with no suspensions Proven mechanical abilities in hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnostics Experience with routine maintenance operations A positive attitude Strong safety mindset Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment Ability to deal with people tactfully and professionally at all times Ability to work well under pressure Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening At least two job references We are an equal opportunity employer.
