Tec Marine is looking for an experienced and energetic Painter 2 to join our Coating Department in Chilliwack, BC.

Our Painter positions have a wage range of range of $19-$35 per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview.

Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.





The Painter 2 is responsible for preparing paint materials, blending, cleaning & preparing various surfaces; spraying application while also maintaining the spray guns.

Essential Functions for this Role are: Prep aluminum, gelcoat, epoxy primers for topcoat and primer application Spray application with a HVLP gravity gun Clean and maintain spray guns and other tools, work area, and materials Maintain inventory of all paint materials Sanding and finishing epoxy and polyester fillers Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required: 3 to 5 years or 5 to 10 years'' experience in spray application with primer and topcoat including body work and prep High school education or GED equivalent Marine, aerospace or autobody experience preferred Bodywork, Bondo and equipment maintenance experience required Fiberglass and carbon fiber experience is considered an asset Good interpersonal skills such as verbal/written communication and listening Knowledge of epoxy primers, topcoat, paint materials, paint preparation, etching and body work Positive attitude and a team player Solid attention to detail Ability to do powder coat is considered an asset Thank you for your interest in Advan
