We are looking for a highly motivated Specialty Leasing Coordinator to join our Specialty Leasing team at Square One Shopping Centre.In this role, you will assist the Specialty Leasing Manager with the revenue generating programs specific to the Specialty Leasing department at Square One Shopping Centre. Your role will be exciting by delivering the annual NOI target set, as well as elevating Square One’s brand positioning through relationships, partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Support the SL Manager with reaching strategic objectives by generating revenue, providing income opportunities, as well as coordinating activations and acquisition of new tenants
• Provide SL Manager with research and leads on new opportunities
• Supervise and plan logistics of SL Activity, including Carts, Kiosks, Brand Activations and Pop-Ups
• Monitor SL tenant set ups
• Communicate SL activity to the property team, prospects and clients with regards to updates, inquiries, tenants and partners
• Partner with marketing team with regards to deal and ensure social media management
• Coordinate the communication of new and existing deals, tenant site visits, documentation, including alignment with Retail Legal as required
• Oversee internal and external customer concerns related to the SL program
• Assist the SL Manager in assessing effective launches and tear-downs of all SL activations in common areas and in-line units
• Manage the inventory of storage units, maintenance program, including pre and post possession between contract terms

• Provide administrative support for the preparation of SL transaction documents. This includes but is not limited to:

1. Prepare storage agreement requests and renewals
2. Maintain accurate inventory and tracking reports for all SL categories, and up to date client files
3. Ensure payments, insurance and all required documents to operate are received in advance of start date
4. Provide accounting department with SL accounts back up, variance explanation
5. Assist the SL Manager with reforecasts and annual SL budget information

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Completion of Post Secondary Education in Business, Marketing or Sales
• Three years of experience within the Shopping Centre Retail industry, or five years of related sales experience. Brand management or Sponsorship development/sales experience will be considered an asset
• Strong skills in the following: people, accounting, anticipation of needs, organization and problem solving
• Great communication and able to work in a diverse environment
• Computer literacy in MS Office products
