Overview

Licensed Funeral Director - Dual Licensed (Southeast British Columbia) role with gpac. This is a dual-licensed Funeral Director position in a respected, locally trusted funeral home group in Southeast British Columbia.

Base pay range: CA$56,800.00/yr - CA$64,900.00/yr. Salary for the dual-licensed role ranges from $70,000-$80,000 plus signing bonus and relocation assistance.

What You'll Do

- Meet with and guide families through the funeral arrangement process with compassion and professionalism
- Coordinate and direct services, visitations, and celebrations of life
- Manage case files, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, supporting a culture of teamwork and service
- Participate in community engagement, strengthening the funeral home's local presence
- Handle back-of-house duties as needed (embalming, preparation, transfers)

What We're Looking For

- Dual license (Funeral Director & Embalmer) in Canada, or eligible to transfer credentials to British Columbia
- Proven experience delivering both front-of-house family service and technical care
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills; ability to support families during difficult times with empathy and professionalism




- Organizational skills and attention to detail in both administrative and technical responsibilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute across all aspects of the funeral home
