We are seeking a highly skilled elevator technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated in-depth product knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting elevators and escalators.

Responsibilities

- Perform adjustment and tuning of elevator systems for smooth operation, leveling, speed, and ride quality.
- Conduct start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed elevators and escalators.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose elevator performance issues using manuals, schematics, diagnostic tools, and software.
- Make electrical and mechanical adjustments to elevator controllers, door operators, brakes, motors, and other relevant components.
- Collaborate with installation teams,



inspectors, and supervisors to ensure systems code compliance.
- Ensure all adjustments are performed in accordance with applicable safety standards, codes, and company procedures.
- Participate in system upgrades, modernization projects, and service quality evaluations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians when necessary.
- Optimize customer engagement by meeting installation standard and call back reduction.

Qualifications

- 10+ years hands-on experience installing, maintaining or troubleshooting elevators and escalators.
- Proven demonstrated track record for sharing knowledge and conducting themselves with the highest skilled standards.
- Technical background and/or recognized designation (Electrical/Mechanical) in related discipline and/or combination of proven field experience in elevator modernization or elevator new installation.
- Strong understanding of elevator control systems and circuits.
- Significant experience and knowledge on a variety of TKE Elevator (Canada) Limited product lines.




- Experience with multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects and customers.
- In addition to elevator knowledge, the candidate will be proficient in the use of computer technologies and the supporting software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills with various stakeholders.
- A desire to learn, maintain and expand knowledge of elevator technology.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to regularly travel between designated locations.
