Development Lead(Implementation Lead) (Ontario)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and organized Development Team Lead to manage our implementation team in Toronto. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring technical know-how and team management experience.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of front-end developers, ensuring timely delivery of assigned projects
- Plan and assign tasks, manage team capacity and workflows
- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure quality control
- Collaborate with design, product, and back-end teams to align implementation goals
- Mentor junior developers and facilitate continuous improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements

Requirements

- 5+ years in front-end or web development,



and 1+ year in a lead/management role
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, pre-processors (SASS/SCSS), and basic JS
- Experience in managing implementation/templating teams
- Solid project ownership, time management, and people skills
- Fluent communication in English and experience working in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with Agile or Kanban workflows
- Experience with Jira/Confluence, Bitbucket/Git
- Background in iGaming or regulated platforms
