Centre of Innovation Project Manager
The Centre of Innovation (CoI) Project Manager, provides direct support for the Director, Centre of Innovation. This role is focused on managing processes in support of effective delivery of the key priorities of the Centre as well as coordination of specific projects and events related to the CoI network business plan.
The incumbent is responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of project work plans to ensure the timely & effective management of the CoI’s key projects & high-profile events, including but not limited to, research and report preparation, coordination of meetings and special events,
as well as reviewing and updating internal and external CoI communications materials.
The successful candidate will have a four year degree and a minimum of three years' experience in a related role. Experience in the following areas are also preferred: Business Planning & Management; Project Management; Event Management; Research and Writing, Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM Certification would be considered an asset. Project planning and coordination experience with advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and demonstrated customer service & interpersonal skills are required skills for this role. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate diplomacy & confidentiality, superior research & writing skills and superior organizational & time management skills.
